Delete your account & data

Yaz lets you delete your account and everything associated with it at any time - directly in the app, or by request.
In the app (fastest)
- Open Yaz.
- Go to Settings → Sync.
- Tap Delete account & data and confirm.
This works whenever you’re connected to Telegram sync. If you were never connected, no account or server data exists to delete - your links live only on your device, and uninstalling the app removes them.
By request
If you can’t open the app, email jossyfreelancer@gmail.com from the contact you use, and we’ll delete your account and data.
What gets deleted
- Your account record (the Telegram identity link).
- All synced links, folders, tags, and favorites stored on the server.
- The encrypted library backup and the saved-link messages in your Telegram bot chat.
- The per-user pointer and encryption key held by the backend.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. Links saved only on a device you still have remain on that device until you remove the app. No backups are retained after deletion.
