Terms of Service
Last updated: June 5, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Yaz app, browser extension, and website (together, “Yaz”). By using Yaz you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Yaz.
1. What Yaz is
Yaz is a personal “save-for-later” tool for links. It lets you save, preview, organize, and optionally sync links across your own devices. Yaz is currently offered free of charge, including during the beta.
2. Your account
You can use Yaz with no account. If you enable sync, you sign in with Telegram, and you’re responsible for keeping access to that Telegram account secure. You’re responsible for the content you save.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Yaz to store or distribute unlawful content, or content that infringes others’ rights;
- attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer for abuse, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users’ data;
- use Yaz in a way that violates the terms of the platforms you save from (e.g. Telegram, Google Play), or applicable law.
4. Your content
The links and notes you save are yours. We don’t claim ownership of them, and - when sync is on - they’re end-to-end encrypted so we can’t read them. You’re responsible for ensuring you have the right to save and store what you save.
5. Beta software
During the closed beta, Yaz is provided for testing. It may contain bugs, change, or be interrupted, and features may be added or removed. We may contact beta testers about the test using the email you provided.
6. Third-party services
Yaz relies on third parties including Telegram and Supabase, and fetches public previews from the sites you save. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies. We’re not responsible for third-party services or for the content of the links you save.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
Yaz is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that Yaz will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your data will never be lost - please keep your own copies of anything important.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yaz and its maker will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) Yaz.
9. Termination
You can stop using Yaz and delete your account at any time (see Delete account & data). We may suspend or end the service, or your access, if you violate these terms or to protect the service and its users.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; we’ll revise the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
